This week I'm joined by David Baird, Girls & Women’s club
developmental officer at the Scottish Football Association and
Academy Coach at Hearts FC. In this episode, we discuss David's
learning design concept 'Scoreboard Soccer'. David provides an
overview of the concept, as well as discussing learning design
theory behind the concept and the benefits of its implementation
within youth development. We also discuss 'bridging the gap
between being competitive and having fun within youth
development, and of course, provide the implications for coaching
practice.
