Laila Mickelwait - PornHub
Sep 25, 2023
Pornhub is a modern phenomenon. Boasting over 130m visitors a day,
the site caters for almost all legal tastes.
But beneath the surface lies another tale. A saga of abuse and
manipulation, of assault and rape. Pornhub may indeed be the choice
destination for frustrated people, but it is also a portal which
seems to show if not actively promote material which is, at best,
questionable.
Laila Mickelwait is a campaigner who has been trying to reel in the
Pornhub beast and its owners for almost twenty years. She believes
the site has become a marketplace for trafficking and sexual
perversion, and as such it's owners should be brought to
task.
She tells Ed Opperman of the obstruction and obfuscation she has
encountered from the multi-millionaire website management, and how
it's just fueled her determination to shut them down.
