#33 - Regé-Jean Page Leaving Bridgerton, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Deja Vu,” Lil Nas X Controversy

The music industry truly did the most this week--and for that, we
are grateful.


First up: the only story not related to music. In a truly
shocking announcement, Lady Whistledown revealed that Regé-Jean
Page will not be appearing in season two of Bridgerton. We’re
pissed, we also sort of understand, but we’re mostly pissed
(09:43-19:48).


Next, Olivia Rodrigo literally cannot be stopped and we’re
already betting that “Deja Vu” will be topping our Spotify
Wrapped 2021. From the lyrics to the music video to the Sabrina
Carpenter stans slowly chilling out, there’s good vibes all
around (19:50-28:12).


Speaking of queens, Demi Lovato released a powerful music video
for her song, “Dancing With the Devil.” We’re finally watching
her YouTube docuseries and unpack why her transparency and
