Welcome all to IS PHARMACOLOGY DIFFICULT Podcast! I am Dr Radhika
Vijay.
What is the great importance of Liquid Dosage forms in our day to
day lives? How would you distinguish between mixtures and
emulsions or between spirits and tinctures?
All the blurry dust would be cleaned over these information
blocks in today's episode.
I will be starting today's talk with Aqueous suspensions like
mixtures and emulsions.
Next I will divert my talks towards Alcoholic suspensions, first
and foremost in the list is spirits, followed by elixirs, mind
it, here I will talk about alcoholic ones, then tinctures. Next
amongst the dosage forms for internal use, I will be
covering finally few words about enema and drops.
All types will be discussed along with definitions, drug
concentrations, alcohol concentrations(if present) and good great
examples of each type! Indications and uses of each type of
dosage form will be discussed and this information byte gonna add
value to the delivered one.... Finally a message with a promise
to keep the vocal sunny vibes in rising mode till I chat with you
