Hello, Welcome to the first episode of the musicmandir podcast
hosted by Jatin, Aakash & Shravani. In today's episode we
discuss about the #freebritney movement which has bubbled up
again in social media. Some artists we talk about are Achint
& The Khan Brothers, a wonderful album inspired by Rajasthani
singers infused with modern influences of rock and blues. Sutej
Singh who’s debut Prog Metal album called ‘The Emerging’
 has garnered fans from all over the country & was
number one on iTunes India’s all-genre albums chart within a
day of the release. JBABE, which is the solo project of The
F16's Josh Fernandez who describes his music as lo-fi, indie-pop
mixed with rhythm and blues. Prabh Deep's new release titled
'Chitta' is breaking norms all across the country with his music
video. Speaking of rappers we talk about Kashmiri Hip Hop artist
Ahmer who released his music video for Elaan, the fourth track
and first single from his debut “Little Kid, Big Dreams” album,
in collaboration with Prabh Deep and producer Sez on the Beat.
And speaking of music videos we could not miss out mentioning
electro-pop venture by vocalist Ambika Nayak and
producer/multi-instrumentalist Nirmit Shah 'Nothing Anonymous'
