J. Cole, Stan Culture, The State of Hip-Hop Journalism & #MWE

Hey folks! We were lucky enough to have one of our favorite
hip-hop writers Gary Suarez aka @noyokono. We discussed J. Cole's
new single Middle Child, "Stan Culture" online and the erosion of
music journalism in the age of click-bait. 


Gary talked a little bit about his annual Music Writer Exercise,
which we invite you all to try. All you have to do is listen to
one album that you have never heard before every day in February,
then you write one tweet about the album. Make sure to include
the hashtag #MWE.


At the end of the episode we played a quick "pick em" rapper game
based on a few of Jayson's Twitter recent polls.
