Stacked Odds: Taking on doctors who make medical errors

Approximately 35,000 Canadians die every year as a result of
medical errors in hospitals and long-term care facilities. Some
families take the doctor to court, but physicians win the
majority of cases. They are backed by a strong organization,
called the Canadian Medical Protective Association, or CMPA.
