Episode 205. Head Coach of The Men's Golf Team For The University of Florida, JC Deacon

In this episode the boys are thrilled to have on the head coach
of the University of Florida Gators golf team, Coach JC Deacon!


Coach Deacon describes his journey from winning Ontario Jr. boys
titles to skittishly making his way across the border after
accepting a coaching job with UNLV, all the way to accepting the
head coaching role for one of the best div 1 golf teams in the
country.


He talks about what life is like at U of F and the pressure it
can present for each and every player and the type of personality
that is required to strive in that environment. 


Coach also takes us through his recent visit to Oakmont for the
U.S. Amateur, supporting the Gator competitors and just what type
of challenge the golf course presented. 


We were even lucky enough to make an emergency call and get Coach
Deacon's best friend Craig on the line and turn the pod into a
full on party ball!
