Episode 245. Justin Silverstein, USC Women's Golf Coach

In this episode, the boys sit down with Justin Silverstein, the
Head Coach of USC's Women's Golf Team.


We kick things off with Justin's take on where the team is at
headed into the golf season, as one of the top golf programs in
the USA. Justin touches on the system they use to improve player
performance, similar to the idea of money ball in baseball,
utilizing data to optimize for key metrics and building mental
fortitude.


Justin also talks about the challenges working with top athletes
and addressing areas of improvements... and some of the
interesting aspects of watching some athletes come through the
USC athletic program to go on to play professionally and how
equipped the school is to help athletes navigate that journey.
Born in Los Angeles and migrating to Dallas, Justin was one of a
dozen kids that went on in his junior golf program that ended up
going on to play Division 1 golf (at the University of
Arizona).
