Goals 'n Ghouls!


Yes! Bristol City served up a pulsating 5-1 Halloween victory
against Sheffield United at the Robins High Performance Centre.
The Vixens fell behind early but hit back with two goals in quick
succession. Abi Harrison scored with yet another cultured finish
and captain Aimee Palmer blasted City ahead. Palmer then bagged
her second of the game - City's third - straight in from a corner
at the start of the second half. Chloe Bull headed home on her
league debut; Mel Johnson capped off a strong afternoon by
scoring our fifth. 


The goal tally is impressive but, in truth, there were sparkling
performances all across the pitch. This is a City side bristling
with confidence, belief and ability. 


It was a performance we all knew they were capable of but have,
so far this season, not delivered. The momentum is ours - onward
to Coventry next Monday. Let's keep pushing, believing, winning.


Doom, Natmare & Shahan Miaaaaaaaahhh coo over the talking
points from the match, slot in a few Halloween jokes here and
there and salute our visitors from Manchester who finally -
finally! - gave Aimee Palmer a song.
