Season 5 #8 Liverpool (A) - 10/12/23

D-M and Nat giddily skip through a 1-1 draw away at Liverpool, an
excellent point that leaves us sitting pretty in 11th, one ahead
of a hapless West Ham United.


Amalie Thestrup's insouciant heeled goal - her fifth of the
season - enabled City Women to take a share of the spoils in
Birkenhead.


This was a solid performance from the whole team, with Syme and
Mustaki stepping in with great distinction, and Mari Ward showing
promising menace off the bench.


What does Lauren Smith have up her sleeve for when the transfer
window opens? Only time will tell, but all we want for Xmas is
Rachel Rowe.
