Shelley Leiser is a former teacher and owner of
TeacherVA.com. 

After teaching secondary ELA, Speech, and Theatre for over a
decade, Shelley decided to take her interests outside of the
classroom. In 2019, after years of listening to online business
podcasts, Shelley decided to use virtual assisting and online
freelancing as a means for earning money and writing her own exit
ticket out of the classroom. 

In 2020, Shelley founded TeacherVA.com, a business dedicated to
bridging the gap for teachers between the online business world
and the classroom. TeacherVA.com provides virtual assistant
training to classroom teachers who are looking for a little extra
financial freedom either to supplement their teaching or help set
them up to move on to a new career.
