Sally Rhine Feather PhD., a retired clinical psychologist, traces
her lifelong interest in parapsychology to growing up as the
daughter of JB and Louisa E. Rhine, founders of modern
parapsychology. She worked as a research assistant at the Duke
Parapsychology Lab before and after earning a doctorate in
experimental psychology from Duke University.
After retirement Dr. Feather returned to work at the Rhine Research
Center including several years as Executive Director. She
co-authored a popular book featuring reports of ESP experiences
(The Gift, 2005) and in 2010 received the Outstanding Career Award
from the Parapsychology Association
Susan Freeman has worked at the Rhine for the last 8 years as
Program Director and Public Relations. She is also involved in the
archiving of the historic writings, articles and materials
collected over the last 85 years and works closely with Dr. Feather
in the qualitative analysis of the spontaneous reports both
historic and current that come to the Rhine.
