Altruism and it's consequences

From this podcast onwards we begin understanding the
technical side of Behavioral Economics. Altruism is of the belief
that the well-being of others too is as much as, if not more,
important than the well-being or survival of ourselves.
Furthermore, altruism involves selfless acts or undertakings that
put the welfare of others before one's own.
