Blended Life EP .03: Step Parenting Expectations

Buckle up because on this episode of our #blendedlife podcast we
talk about #stepparent expectations…..for the first time as a
couple…on air and with cameras rolling!  May I recommend
having this conversation in the beginning and not while being
recorded LOL!  Being a step parent is not for the weak,
that’s for sure.  It is very necessary to sit down with your
spouse, if there are #stepchildren involved, and discuss what
your expectations are for the step parent of the family. 
Husband and wife need to be on the same page about the roles in
the household so that the parent and step parent both feel
supported, heard and understood.  The more you can pave the
road you are on with a mutual understanding about how you expect
your household to be run, the smoother the ride will be.  Do
not forgo this conversation to avoid conflict!  Enjoy!
