Blended Life EP. 97: A Major Event

On this episode we continue to interview Lisa, co-host of the
Chick Crew (go check them out on Instagram and YouTube) a home
and life skills improvement show, about her blended family life
experiences. She opens up about a pretty major family trauma that
she, as a step parent, had to confront with her step son. Cops
are definitely involved. This story will really allow your heart
to swell when you hear how she showed up and stepped up as a step
mom! She’s truly inspiring. When you think you’re alone in
dealing with some pretty tough stuff, Lisa will make you feel
less so through her real life experiences. She even discusses
having a grandchild now, and how that is going as her bio
daughter has moved back home and the step parent/grandparent
shoe’s now on the other foot (her husbands). This is an episode

The Purpose

Why is talking about blended families and life in general
important? Because we believe that we can do better than what
statistics say about second marriages lasting, about blending
families making it, that’s why! A 70% divorce rate statistic for
remarriages with children is simply unacceptable! Spreading life
lessons, passing along wisdom gained from experience and bringing
to light what is often happily left in the dark to hide, is how
we all can learn to be better, to do better the second time
around (in a blended family many lives depend on it). Together we
can avoid costly mistakes that will end in the demise of our
precious families.
