this is THE THING THAT CHANGED MY LIFE actually.

i'd say that some of the things that have changed my life also
get a little twisted up with left or right turns, sliding doors,
sometimes regret - it’s a whole cornucopia of feelings and woulda
coulda shoulda’s, and the paths that we end up on.


if you think about some of the things that have happened to you
that you might consider a life-changer, it’s kind of normal to
look back on how you got there.


if you hadn’t gone to the party or taken that job or you hadn’t
caught the subway, would it have ended up happening? i mean,
those are big ones and there’s listen, there’s NO answer, but
sometimes it’s more about the really small things - like the way
you treat a person or the way you’ve been treated. because one
small ripple can multiply and can ultimately become a giant wave.
