London was the home of the double-doink on Sunday, as the
crossbar and post combined to leave Saints prayers unanswered and
leave Captain Kirk and his supporting crew beaming. The Vikings
may have left the big plays at home in the first half, but it’s
funny how the wins disguise the issues the losses only amplify.


But New Orleans were one of a host of teams who have seen early
season optimism replaced by the stark reality that a long season
lies ahead – and that was only Week 4.
