On this episode of AMK we had a chat with film and theatre actor
Mandar Kulkarni. Mandar has been working in various theatre
productions since his childhood. As a kid Mandar was associated
with various members of the Theatre Academy one of the oldest and
highly decorated theatre group in pune. This childhood flick
turned into a career after he enrolled in to the prestigious
Lalit Kala Kendra College Of Fine Arts of the Pune University. He
got trained under renowned director and playwright Satish Alekar
and other faculty members in various disciplines. After passing
out he started this strides as a actor in commercial as well as
amature theatre productions. Down the line he also got an
opportunity of portraying his skill in marathi soap operas
broadcasted on channels like Zee Marathi, Star Pravah and Colours
Marathi. His accomplishments and ability has taken mandar to
soaring heights. Now a days he also takes time to teach some
disciplines to talented youth from all over India by conducting
workshops. We had a wonder full talk during which we talked on
various matters attached to theatre, acting, music and original
background score and also flashbacks in to the glorious yester
years of the theatrical past of Pune.
