States to intervene in the search for war criminal Joseph Kony,
went absolutely viral. Out of seemingly nowhere, everyone seemed to
be buying souvenirs to stop a war criminal they had likely never
heard of before the video emerged. But, while some patted
themselves on the back for their newfound activist spirit, others
criticized the movement and the creators of the viral moment in
history. Soon, concepts like aid to Africa, the white savior
