181. Essential Grammar for Business English: Past Tense Regular Verbs Breakdown

If you've listened to previous episodes you may have heard me
mention that there are really 4 core tenses that the majority of
people need in a business context; the present, the future, the
past and the present perfect. If you have a good command of these
ones, that will serve you well in many business interactions.


I've found personally that many people are more comfortable with
the future and present tenses but generally weaker with the past
and present perfect. I'd like to start to work on this with you
in today's episode. We are going to start with regular verbs in
the past tense. In the future I will pick up other areas such as
irregular verbs.
