Ep. 76 - Choosing to Kneel for the National Anthem - With Jaelene Daniels

In this episode we had the opportunity to chat with Jaelene
Daniels of the North Carolina Courage while she is in Utah
playing in the NWSL Challenge Cup. In this conversation we dive
into the reason that Jaelene, along with the rest of her team,
had decided to kneel for the National Anthem before her games.


 


The intent behind our conversation is to bring unity in Christ
and awareness of the situation. We talk race, soccer, using your
athletic platform for social change, and the Image of God. May
God be glorified through our conversation!


 


The FAM does not support or condone either decision to stand or
kneel. But the FAM does support conversation, unity, and empathy.
The FAM does not support the organization of Black Lives Matter.
But the FAM does support the sentiment of the statement, because
we believe black lives matter!!!!
