True independence doesn't come from what you have, but from what
you are. It's not about having the perfect car or the nicest
clothes, but about being content with who you are and what you
have. It's about being confident in your own skin and knowing
that you're enough just the way you are. That's true
independence.


Sadly, too many people in America don't know how to find that
kind of independence. They think they need to have more stuff or
be more like someone else, in order to be happy and successful.
But that's not the case. The truth is, we all have the same
potential for happiness and success, but not necessarily the
opportunities. It's just a matter of finding or creating the
opportunities starting with and within ourselves.
