Man, oh man do I love this flick! It's one of those ultra-low
budget movies from the 80's that you can feel an entire city
(Akron, OH, to be exact) helping out to make a filmmaker's dream
come true. It was secretly financed by Sam Raimi with his pay for
"The Evil Dead II" and voice over's were all done by Bruce Campbell
(who voices several people), Ted Raimi and other shemps.
I love showing this movie to folks, and my good friend Clay
Chamberlin joins the pod to discover this classic slice of zombie
horror you should watch and make part of your personal
collection.
Stay tuned in after the episode for an interview with James L.
Edwards, who was a 12-year-old boy who's life would be forever
changed when he answered an ad in a newspaper looking for zombies
in "The Dead Next Door."
