Channeling the energy of creative geniuses like Sean Cunningham and
Al Adamson, Baltimore indie filmmaker Shawn Wright is bringing back
the sleazy gory horror films of yore with his production company
FaceMelt Features. His first feature, “Night of the Axe” was a fun
throwback to the 80’s slasher and his follow up “Spirit Board”
(based on the Ouija horror films) is currently in preproduction.
After chatting with Shawn, it’s very clear he has a promising
future in horror films and I’m looking forward to seeing more of
his work.
