Coach Vickie Benson not only is the head girls basketball coach
at James Bowie High School in Austin, she is a visionary and a
difference makers in many people’s lives. She started the
“Beyoutiful Classic”, a premier girls basketball tournament with
32 teams that also focuses on “Mental Health Matters” with a
dinner and speakers that focus on mental health issues. We talk
about that and much more! The next episode we talk with her son
Coleton (who introduces her on this episode) about his high
school and college basketball career (Army West Point), life, and
being a “mental giant”!
