with his parents Barbara and Ken, as they all share their sides
of an incredibly powerful story about prayer, obedience, and
God’s perfect plans.

because of the danger he was in in Vietnam. 


3:30-11:20 Not being able to be rescued because of too many
losses, so having to come up with a new plan. Running into an
ambush, having to backtrack, beginning the evacuation.

the river because enemy forces were observed, and also to keep
those who were poor swimmers together.

come pick them up. One of the helicopters coming was flying too
high and got hit. The other one was a forced crash landing in
hostile territory. Crowded 7 in to a 4 seated helicopter to
finally get to safety at an Army base.

to take R & R and go on vacation with his family in Hawaii.

Grandma had received a scripture that said, “Joy would come in
the morning”. The next morning they got the news that Ken was
safe.

R time.

helicopter pilot, Joe, who lost his life during his time in
Vietnam, and his daughter Lauren. Sharing her resilience and
