Steve Teel interviews singer-songwriter Ben Fuller on this
edition of Very Bold Radio!


Steve Teel not only will carry Ben Fuller’s guitar case any day,
he will interview him any day and twice on Tuesday. Ben is the
singer songwriter of hits: Who I Am (8 million streams on Spotify
alone), But The Cross, If I Got Jesus, and new songs you just
have to hear for yourself: Proud (we go deep into this powerful
song on Father-child relationships), Other Plans (what a story!)
and many more.


In this interview Ben promises (threatens?) to do a backflip
(shoutout Logan Cain), even sings a little “Cain”, and references
conversation with the Cain band and Taylor Cain Matz about the
power of God’s word and the dangers of neglecting God’s written
word.


Ben talks about the blessing of the platforms given to musicians
but also that we ALL have gifts from the Lord and must lean into
our special gifts.


He shares a story on Mark Hall of Casting Crowns about being on
stage and how easy it is to not invite the Holy Spirit to the
party.


Ben is currently on tour with We Are Messengers and Jonathan
Traylor and talks about the show being realness, sweet, kind,
without the competition that sometimes can be found.


Most of the second half of the interview (16 minutes to 32
minutes) is spent going into the story (and backstory) of the
song, Proud, as well as talking about how the love of God brings
healing to relationships.  This is powerful song and also
powerful story here of how God can bring healing to father-child
relationships.


Ben Fuller has depth in his relationship with Christ. That depth
comes out in his songs and in his conversations and in this
interview.
