Share Your Story: Carice Coleman

Happy Monday babes! We are back to our regularly scheduled
programming with a share your story episode. It's been a while
since we've done one of these, so I was super excited to talk to
Carice and learn more about her!

Carice was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Growing up, she
thought that she would enter the medical field but after
struggling with math and science, she quickly decided to change
her career ambitions towards a field in which she knew she would
not only enjoy, but excel in. In 2017, Carice graduated from
North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina with
a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a concentration
in Public Relations.

After graduation, Carice moved back to Richmond and attended
Virginia Commonwealth University where she recently obtained her
master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations. Education is
something that Carice highly values, and she will continue to
enhance her knowledge of both the evolving Hospitality and PR
industries through real life and work experiences along with
continuing her education through research and developing
strategies through a Ph.D. program. Ultimately, Carice’s goal is
to work in the Communications department of a successful
hospitality brand. Her passions outside of the world of
Communications include giving back to the community, financial
literacy, event planning, restaurants & tourism, and
pageantry.
