The Right to Rule and Reign

The concept of a kingdom has two parts. It is first the authority
to rule and reign and second it is the area where that authority
is recognised. The right or authority to rule and reign is
intricately linked to the ruler of the kingdom. For example, the
kingdom ruler has the right to rule and reign over the area of
their kingdom. This image of a kingdom is an important one for
understanding the message and ministry of Jesus and the role of
His disciples in His healing mission. Jesus preached, taught,
demonstrated and embodied the kingdom of God. As you listen be
