Unlocking the Keys to the Kingdom

In the New Testament, the reference to keys represents the power
and authority of various kinds. In this instance Jesus links the
keys of the kingdom of heaven to Himself. For He is the Christ,
that is the anointed one of God, the Son of the living God, the
king of God’s kingdom. He is the one who has the right to rule
