Surviving kidnapping by criminals. Taking on police killings after
her husband was murdered. Fighting sexual harassment at work. Beth
Mukami – from the Dandora slum in Nairobi, Kenya – has seen it all.
Today she’s a human rights defender, a feminist, activist and a
“voice of the voiceless”. She and others started the Dandora
Community Justice Centre which is on the front-line of the fight
