Ep. 4: Dr. Dave Samuel. A very special episode with one of the G.O.A.T's

Story Time! For me, this was a great one because I LOVE hearing
the stories of this generation of hunters. This one was truly
special.
Today, a lot of people throw around the word "Conservationist"
and rightfully so, as hunters, anglers, birdwatchers etc. we all
are to some degree. 
Then- there are people like Dr. Dave.
People who have spent 60+ years ensuring the future of our great
sport. Doing it all because they loved everything it meant to be
a hunter. When you listen to the episode you'll soon realize that
it was and still is his calling, it's what he was meant to
do. 

Dr Dave was the Professor of Wildlife Management at the
University of West Virginia for 35 years, the Director of
Conservation for the Pope and Young club, Conservation Editor for
Bowhunter Magazine for almost 50 years, President of the National
Bowhunters Education Foundation, (which lead to getting
bowhunting legalized abroad) a 2007 inductee in the Archery Hall
of Fame, and many more. 
As an educator, bowhunting activist and author Dr Dave built a
reputation as one of Archery's most reliable sources of factual
pro-wildlife, pro-conservation, and pro-hunting information
available.
