The God Who Strengthens

Psalm 79 and 80 are psalms of desperation for God’s intervention
and strength. I have discovered how often I overreact and panic,
praying these types of psalms and verses when I encounter
difficult circumstances, and that I tend to beg God for
deliverance from my situation, when in actual fact He is giving
me opportunities for growth in strength and maturity.
