God of Intervention

If we look at scripture from Genesis to Revelation, what do we
see? A God that desires a relationship with His creation. We
don’t see a God that just created everything and then walked
away.
Have we as Christians on some level approached our relationship
with God as if that’s the case? Did we experience God’s grace and
start believing in him, but then as time passed he somehow became
distant? Is that how we see God dealing with his people in
scripture? God is still active and intervening in his creation,
the same Holy Spirit that animated the early church is still with
us today. Now is the time for the church to move from passive to
active and pursue a deeper relationship with God.
