1 Timothy

As we’ve studied the topic of prayer in the New Testament - we
come to two letters written from Paul to his ‘apprentice’
Timothy. These are letters written about helping to lead the
church moving forward. It speaks of thanksgiving, intercession,
prophecy and the laying on of hands. With a constant reminder
that we live for an entirely different kingdom the Kingdom of
Heaven. It presses us to do the work of God - by faith; it
reveals the great gifts of the kingdom of heaven - for those who
believe; and demonstrates that if Paul can be redeemed - anyone
can be. It’s an exciting couple of letters - that propels the
hungry children of God to join the mission of God.
