In this episode of the Digital Digest, we roundup the biggest
stories of the week from Etisalat and Ericsson's commercial
mmWave 5G deployment to why 1 July will be a big day in ICT.


Natalie covers the news that BTfaced the Competition Appeals
Tribunal (CAT) over a lawsuit alleging it overcharged customers
and American Tower Corporation (ATC) Europe has a new
shareholder.


Also in telecoms, Etisalat and Ericsson have plans to
commercially deploy mmWave 5G and Windstream Wholesale has
launched ICON, its intelligent converged optical network.


On the vendor front, Alan hears from Nokia's Tommi Uitto on 5G
faux pas and product launches and talks about the two court
appeals that Huaweilost over the week. He also covers the news
that Vodafonewill be 100% powered from renewable sources by 1
July, the same day OneWebwill launch the last 36 satellites it
needs to begin commercial services.


In data centres, Natalie brings the latest on MainOne'sAccra
facility; Dialog Axiata's Sri Lanka facility; and GTR'srecord
breaking UK project while in China, BDx has opened the first
