Ep 08: Radio Host Freeni Raza on Openly Speaking Up About Her Muslim American Experience to Bridge Interfaith Communities

When a faith leader reached out and asked if any Muslims would
like to visit a Christian Church and answer questions they had on
the Muslim Faith, Freeni Raza knew she had to say yes, simply
because no one else was doing it. She walked into the church in
the Deep South of Texas, where they have open carry laws, with
her two kids and broke the ice by letting people know they could
ask any questions they want and she would not get offended. This
was the start of Freeni's journey in opening up and publicly
speaking about her faith in an attempt to bridge communities. She
has since hosted her own radio show and started her own podcast,
Musings of Modern Muslims, to talk more in depth about taboo
topics.
