Talent Acquisition Specialist with Ornua. James explains
the global reach of Ornua and what graduates can expect to do as
they begin their careers with the company.

Ornua are Ireland’s largest exporter of dairy products.


A dairy co-operative that sell on behalf of their member co-ops.


Headquarters in Dublin, export to 110 countries worldwide, annual
sales over 2.3 billion euro.


2,400 people and 10 business units worldwide, 13 production
facilities, marketing stations globally.


Two divisions: food and ingredients.


Food divisions deals with consumer marketing of brands; eg
kerrygold.


Ingredients division: manufacturers pay for ingredients for their
products.


Local and global. Safe industry to be in.

operating?


Applications for 2021 grad program open now, closing 23rd of
October. 


Taking on graduates across the globe, truly an international
program.


Irish roots, global opportunities; Ireland, Germany, Spain, North
America, Africa and the Middle East.


Looking for students from all backgrounds; mainly IT but also
business/ commerce.


Within 18 month program, multiple rotations, classroom and
learning modules, mentoring from experienced leaders and skills
development.


Students from universities in Ireland will be based in Ireland,
with opportunities for travel.


Looking for positive attitudes, curious mindset, people skills,
passion for food industry.





09:50-12:50 What is the application process?


Apply at earlycareers.ornua.com 


Process includes psychometric assessments, a video interview and
a virtual assessment centre.


Offers are issued just before Christmas, students can finish
their degree with an offer in their pocket.


First time doing a virtual assessment centre but very excited
about it. 





12:50-15:05 Ornua in the current climate


Plan to continue growing the business, Covid hasn't held up
recruitment process. 


Have been working from home since March so very accustomed to a
virtual setting by now.


Plan to stick to virtual and continue as usual, suits students as
they will be well skilled in online.
