Welcome back after a few weeks off and some much needed rest the
boys bring you part two of the 1985 double bill! This time we
take a trip over seas to Taiwan and look at two very very unique
looks at a culture shifting in two very different ways! Up first
we look at the Edward Yang film about those who survive and those
who don't when it comes to change in Taipei Story! Following that
we take a look at the beautiful and fascinating look at growing
up in the shifting culture by Hsiao-Hsien Hou in his middle
chapter of his growing up trilogy with The Time to Live and the
Time to Die!


Spoiler Alert: It's a quick show this week but man do we love
both these films!
