Ep.126 They Live by Night and In a Lonely Place or I mean all of those words as positives

Welcome back to TWGTF and our second week of Noirvember! Well its
already been a great first set of films in episode 125 and this
week we take it up a notch! The subject of our episode is the one
and only Nicholas Ray master filmmaker! Up first is Ray's debut
feature with an incredible look at youth and love in trouble with
the beautifully sad They Live by Night! Following this we take a
step into the realm of genius as a year later Ray delivers us one
of the best films as well as maybe the best performance by
Humphrey Bogart. It is of course the 1950 classic about love and
obsession in Hollywood In a Lonely Place!
