A belated happy Thanksgiving and welcome back to the final
episode in our 2021 Noirvember series! This week we are going out
with a bang. Well perhaps several bangs as we have two loaded
films to close out! First up we have the spectacular and really
well written film from Nicholas Ray and his first collaboration
with Humphrey Bogart. It's 1949's Knock on Any Door! Following
that we take a look at the second Jules Dassin film and might
just be one of the best Noir's of its time! We also get a non
sleepy Richard Widmark in the 1950 film Night and the City!
