Five years before the Disney Renaissance, Disney gave us a
different Little Mermaid. 1984's Splash was the first film from
Touchtone Pictures. From an attempt at a crossover with a Disney
Parks ride, to the controversal censoring of Daryl Hannah's
backside on Disney Plus, we dive into this film's history.
