Unapologetically questioning: It's not you it's the dating app

In this week’s episode of Unapologetic we once again have a new
speaker, Eli, a master’s sociology student that is very
passionate about dating, sexuality and gender. In this episode,
Eli and Maria talk about their experiences with online dating and
ghosting while also drawing upon small research they did on
social media to get a better understanding of people’s
experiences with online dating. The two also delve into Bauman’s
theory of liquid love and modernity to try to understand what
exactly do these online dating apps and websites help to achieve
in today’s urban societies.
