Have you ever heard the phrase:
"Jab, jab, jab, right-hook?" Made famous by podcaster and
entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk?
Well it essentially means, before asking for a sale, offer tons
of value. How many of you are guilty of just telling and selling
in your social media feeds? How many of you are just posting on
social media, because you think you have to? Rather than just
doing what comes naturally to someone who is passionate about
their business and communicating.
Maybe you are not a great camera person, so do a podcast. Maybe
you are self conscious about your voice, post pictures. Maybe you
can't take a good shot, but you can write? Then write a blog. I
believe everyone has at least one supernatural skill that sets
them apart from most others. You just have to find out what it is
and ADD VALUE.
If you are not offering value in 75% of your social media posts,
you are doing it all wrong. The truth is, there is business to
win online in social media platforms, but you have to offer value
and engage your audience first.
Be the brand. So today's podcast, is all about offering value
before delivering the killer blow. That's what jab, jab, jab,
