On Episode 3 of Smoke Til It's Gone Or Die, your favorite
stoned hosts find stories that cover all of their favorite
topics...Rylee covers the Burning of Bridget Cleary, one of
Ireland's best recorded witch burnings. They stumble through the
names of rural Irish towns and talk about a time in Ireland's
history where Catholicism, Paganism, and the modern court system
collided to create this outrageous crime. Patty puts on her tuke
and takes you up to Canada in the mysterious death of Cindy
James. Patty brings you along a timeline of years and years of
stalking, harassment, and death threats, that lead to a death
that police consider a suicide.

Patty's Probable Cause of the week is another podcast
that is a friend of ours. Marking The Path, a new podcast by
Oakland based artist and author Mark Travis Rivera, explores
authentic living and blazing one’s own path. As a queer, Latinx,
disabled artist, Mark values representation in media, and his
passion for authenticity is informed by an eclectic array of
lived experiences. In Marking The Path, that passion is matched
in dynamic conversations with creators of tomorrow’s world,
including artists, celebrities, entrepreneurs and storytellers.
Season 1 of Marking The Path premieres on Wednesday, September 2,
2020. You can donate to their GoFundMe at

Rylee’s Probable Cause this week is timely, and we ask
you to research and donate money to causes that support the
Indigineous American population, especially because they are
disproportionately affected by the current worldwide pandemic, on
top of the myriad of other socio economic hardships that they
face. Native American Rights Fund, at
https://www.narf.org/, focuses on
preserving tribal existence, protecting tribal natural resources,
and promoting Native American human rights. On a federal level,
they work to hold the government accountable to Native Americans
and develop Indian Law.

Also visit the National Indigenous Women’s Resource
Center, at
https://www.niwrc.org/. The National
Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, Inc. (NIWRC) is a Native-led
nonprofit organization dedicated to ending violence against
Native women and children. The NIWRC provides national leadership
in ending gender-based violence in tribal communities by lifting
up the collective voices of grassroots advocates and offering
culturally grounded resources, technical assistance and training,
and policy development to strengthen tribal sovereignty. They
boast a vast resource library and a predominantly displayed
donate button, which we love!

Under Massachusetts’ Chapter 94G and California’s Proposition 64
Bills it is legal for us two assholes to possess and consume
MaryJane, medically known as cannabis, in our respective states.
We do NOT condone the illegal consumption, possession, or sale of
cannabis in places it’s not supposed to be smoked, man handled,
or acquired from a legal dispensary. But we DO condone what the
awesome humans at Marijuana Policy Project are doing to support
legislation at the state and federal level to decriminalize
cannabis across the country, and advocate for those who have been
incarcerated for cannabis possession. Visit mpp.org for more
details.
