Office following the Watergate scandal and the sudden ascension
of Gerald Ford to the presidency. Today, National Journal's

Ledyard King about his five-part series laying out each of the
five days from Monday Aug. 5 when President Nixon had no
intention of leaving to Friday Aug. 9 when he and his family left
the White House for the last time as leader of the free world.
