You Winning Life: Jason Wasser Shares How His Past Became an Avenue to a Winning Life. | 043

Jason is a professional speaker and licensed therapist. He had a
huge journey from having failing marks just to avoid speaking
back when he was a student but now, has full confidence to speak
to the world and ready to make an impact. Currently, he has over
8k followers on Instagram.


His podcast called You Winning Life mainly talks about
psychology, spirituality, entrepreneurship in natural and
alternative medicine that promotes improvement, success and
empowered life.


“…not only was I afraid of doing any public speaking but I think
that anything in public, I had such a complex or low I don’t
know, it was like low self-esteem or embarrassment…”


Even though Jason has a friendly personality, he still feels
uncomfortable performing in front of many people. He was never
loud and out in the crowd. 


“The big switch for me was the beginning. I think it was 10th
grade going into 11th grade, I was really involved in my
synagogues youth group called USY. And I was elected for a board
position in our chapter.”


He was given a responsibility to lead their chapter which made
him realize that he must not act like the ordinary Jason. He
needs to stand for his chapter. That’s when his self-identity
changed. He knew that there’s a small spark of flame that can
make a fire burn. This event paved the way for him to improve and
see a new perspective in life.


Later on, Jason continued his studies. He went to Israel for two
years and came back to start teaching in school and synagogue. He
began talking to small groups. He realized that he wants to make
an impact on sixth-graders, to know their value and to live their
life with the best version of themselves.


“… everybody has that uniqueness that they can offer someone else
that might change someone else’s life.”
