when these words really define a piece of who you are it becomes
all the more important that your therapist speaks your language.
Talk therapy loses a lot of momentum when you have to pause your
explanation of your self to constantly explain yourself and yet
most therapists make it through their many years of training
without any special understanding of queer culture or human
sexuality. This summer Grace Stephenson launched Glimmer, a safe
& empowering online space for womxn, QTBIPOC, and LGBTQIA+
communities to find sexual and mental health professionals. Grace
