About the Guest
Dr. John D. Street is an adjunct professor at Southern Baptist
Theological Seminary and is the Chair of the Master of Arts in
Biblical Counseling and Professor of Biblical Counseling at The
Master’s University & Seminary in California. He is also a
Fellow and the President of the Board of Trustees of the
Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

His education includes a B.A. from Cedarville University, an M.Div.
from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary (Summa Cum Laude, Hebrew
honors), and a D.Min. from Westminster Theological Seminary in
Philadelphia. He joined the staff of The Master’s University &
Seminary in 1999.

Dr. Street is a second-generation pastor, giving more than 40 years
to pastoral ministry. He has served as an assistant professor at
both Cedarville and Cornerstone Universities and has taught Hebrew
classes. He also served as the Acting Director of Admissions at
Cedarville University. He was the founding pastor of Clearcreek
Chapel in Springboro, Ohio, where there was developed a strong
preaching and counseling ministry as well as a training center with
a special emphasis in equipping church leaders and pastors.

He frequently travels doing training conferences throughout the
United States and in countries of Australia, Austria, Brazil,
Canada, Chili, Ecuador, Germany, Honduras, Mexico, New Zealand,
South Africa, Russia, and Switzerland. Dr. Street has published
three books, Men Counseling Men (editor, Harvest House), The
Biblical Counseling Guide for Women** *(Harvest House), and
**Passions of the Heart: Biblical Counsel for Stubborn Sexual Sins*
(Presbyterian & Reformed Academic Publishers). Along with these
ministries, he is also an elder at Grace Community Church in Sun
Valley, California where John MacArthur is the teaching pastor and
is a shepherd of the Joint Heirs Adult Fellowship group.

Dr. Street is married to Janie, his wife of over 41 years, and they
have four children: Krista Breedveld (husband, Sean), Melissa Arnds
(husband, Jess), James and John III (wife, Julianne). He is a
grandfather of six beautiful grandchildren. He loves spoiling his
grandchildren!
